I took this awhile back when we hiked Mount Diablo. It really struck me how beautiful it was that this little tree was growing right of the rock even with no soil in sight. Reminded me of hope.

Hi there! In Baz Luhrmann’s epic, Australia, the little boy Nullah says at the movie’s end, “that’s why we tell…the stories…so they know they are belonging to us.”
Now, you’re here because you have a story to be told. Are you getting married? Having a baby? Celebrating a friendship or family? All of these are stories and theses stories tell of your “belongingness”…of your belonging to a larger story…a story that matters…a story that connects you with people you love and want to remember… and to people who love you and want to remember you.
