This is our good friend, Isabelle. She just had a birthday. I asked my daughter, Sam, to give me 6 words that describe her. They are: silly, pretty, fun, smart, friend, colorful and creative. (Sam gave me 7 words!)

When Kadie was a baby, we used to do ‘baby dancing’. I’d hold her close and sing (sorry, kiddo) oldies, like this one from Donny Osmond:

This is my sister. I mean my real actual sister as in we share the same parents. I call her “Sista”. She once sat on a knife while it was still in the dish washer…think about that for a minute…she is remarkable like that. She is also: sensitive, funny, beautiful, strong, full of grace, giving, and a talented writer. She has always championed others around her – many of us would not be where & who we are without her.
