Your Story Matters

(This was carved into a large rock at Mount Diablo. I find it fascinating that people carve their names on trees, boulders, picnic tables, etc. It's like they are saying, "I was here. I matter.")

On February 19, 1973, I was 7 years old probably looking forward to my upcoming 8th birthday that was only 7 days away. At the time, I think my family had recently moved to Garland, Texas from Ponce, Puerto Rico.  I was the goalie for our soccer team, the Eastgate Gators. My mom was the coach.  Living in Texas was a fun time for me. I have good memories of playing outside a lot with my best buddies, Anne and her brother Howard.

Where were you on February 19, 1973?

Yesterday was such a fun day! Mike and Jessica were married in Auburn & I had the privilege of taking photos. Congratulations, you two – have fun in Hawaii! Here are a few photos from yesterday with many more to come …
