I really have no idea what this quote means but for some reason it really moves me. What do you think?
Hi there! In Baz Luhrmann’s epic, Australia, the little boy Nullah says at the movie’s end, “that’s why we tell…the stories…so they know they are belonging to us.”
Now, you’re here because you have a story to be told. Are you getting married? Having a baby? Celebrating a friendship or family? All of these are stories and theses stories tell of your “belongingness”…of your belonging to a larger story…a story that matters…a story that connects you with people you love and want to remember… and to people who love you and want to remember you.
Your story matters. And I so love a good story. That’s what this site is about.

Mark Buchanan actually used that quote in his book _The Rest of God_ to explain repentance. I don’t want to put the big giant quote in here, but if you ever poke around his book, you’ll see his interpretation. Interesting. I very first encountered this poet in his book, and then suddenly she was everywhere. Love the photo!
