“Miracles are a retelling in small letters of the very same story which is written across the whole world in letters too large for some of us to see.”
- C.S. Lewis

“The Way I Am”

I love this…

“The Way I Am” by Ingrid Michaelson

If you were falling, then I would catch you.
You need a light, I’d find a match.

Cuz I love the way you say good morning.
And you take me the way I am.

If you are chilly, here take my sweater.
Your head is aching, I’ll make it better.

Cuz I love the way you call me baby.
And you take me the way I am.

I’d buy you Rogaine if you start losing all your hair.
Sew on patches to all you tear.

Cuz I love you more than I could ever promise.
And you take me the way I am.
You take me the way I am.
You take me the way I am.

It’s a Parade!

I absolutely love my town’s July 4th parade! Each year Rancho Cordova celebrates the 4th of July with a good, old fashioned parade that anyone can enter. Have a cool car? A great costume? A Harley? Own a local business? A little enthusiasm? You’re in!

The parade celebrates all that’s great about this country like opportunity, freedom, heroes, family, and culture. It’s a little goofy but it’s a moment where the street cleaner & Patriotic Harley Guy are celebrated as much as the mayor & the city council – it’s about community. I love my town.
